Arunachalam (1997) is a Tamil-language masala film directed by Sundar C., starring Rajinikanth in the title role with Soundarya, Rambha, and Anandaraj in supporting roles. The film follows Arunachalam, a wealthy man who must divide his vast inheritance among a set number of heirs within a strict timeframe to fulfill a condition in his late father's will. Known for Rajinikanth’s trademark style, punch dialogues, and mass appeal, the film combined comedy, action, and sentiment and was a commercial success on release.
